Fun Pics

I had a fun afternoon Monday taking the homecoming queen pictures. It was way to windy so we went to the Soda shop at Best Friends in Canyon. We also used a scooter next door at Johnston's Hardware.

Bailey and Teagen have dressed up all days throughout homecoming. Here is a picture of Bailey with her twin Sierra yesterday. Teagen was twins with Chance. Bailey is wearing Jana's letter jacket today and I have on Suzi's leather fringed jacket. I love to wear it. I just want to have her as a part of me. What an honor always to wear her things.

Kyton's 4 year pictures

We did this on Sunday. He was sunburned Saturday and had mosquito, bites fresh and old. We did some by John Butler's building on Main, some with BB, some at Haw Jim's pens and a few with Clint's tractor. He had a great attitude about it. You can tell in pics.

He was crazy in church on Sunday. He giggles and giggles. Dickie Clark said to me after church that we have to be doing a great job for him to be sooooooo happy. I needed that!!

He told me yesterday that he did not want to be 4. He definitely has opinions about things. Pictures to come.

First Flag Football for the First Grader--Teagen

Saturday, September 20th was Teagen's first real flag football game. There is so much to learn, even how to stand on the sideline, carry water and give it to the players actually playing and how to stand still on the line. I am thrilled for the opportunity for him to learn the basics of some of it. It may never be his "thing" but maybe it will. He is part of the whole and right now that is all that matters. Two games is a long time. The temp was hot, but the fellowship was mellow. It is not fun to play the other Happy team especially with Craig--our cousin on the team. We would really rather be a part of the same time. Bailey was helping the youth in the concession stand and Kyton and Camden had their own game going on most of the time. Kyton and I had on our Germany t-shirts that MeeMaw brought us from Germany.

Johnsons to the Fair

After only a set back of almost $200.00 (I called Grandaddy to ask if he survived lunch and if I could have a loan). We had a great time. Arm painting. Commercial exhibits. HUGE blow up Batman hammer from the duckies and a blow up machine gun--which I got to hold while the riders rode more than 10 rides each. A great funnel cake. Slides. Clint and Bailey defying gravity and so much more. Corn dogs. Tornado fries. A diet coke larger than the straw. COLD weather by the end. Petting zoo. Horse ride. Teagen probably was shocked when a deer ate out of his hand--he said I think that is the first time I have done that--let an animal eat out of his hand. We had a great time. Long day today. We even survived a catastrophe with the new pet fish from last night. He is still living and goes by the name of County. BB has a new light weight fall jacket that we are trying out tonight.

Kyton turned 4!!

Kyton's birthday is September 14th (Sunday). We try to plan time with cousins to provide little people for Kyton. That party was set for Friday after school before the football game. Teagen had his first week of football for his lifetime. He and Craig had an unsceduled prior to the invitations scrimmage. They both missed it, but we had an orange time!! Orange cake with a mess up of "Go #43". Kyton was no worse for the ware. Because of the scrimmage, Sydni got to have cake and ice cream with us. It was great. Thank goodness for Tryce--otherwise Kyton would have had just the girls to celebrate iwth. The kids played and had fun. Teagen and Craig hated to miss the whole party, but they got prizes, etc. anyway. Go Cowboys!! Saturday night we met MawMaw and PawPaw, Jody, Lisa, Trevor (birthday on the 12th--19 years old), Braden and Brent at Ruby Tequila's for food and cookie. Then Sunday, I got up and had donuts for when the kids got up. Candles in the donut. Grandaddy and Louese ate lunch with us after church where Kyton put his pennies in with Trevor. We then went to the fair last night. Fun had by all!!

Bailey was baptized on Sunday

It was a morning of promotion and praise. Kyton got to move up to the three and four year old class with Tryce and Haleigh. He went up front for a certificate. Bailey was the first to be baptized. She was emmersed and Clint helped Tom with it. It turned a bit humorous because Tom got tongue-tied with her name. Kailey Bay. It was sweet. Bailey was one of four baptized while three others were confirmed. We had a sweet moment of laying hands on her and praying. Grandad was a part of that. We went to eat afterwards at the Golden Spur with he and Louese, Mary, Mom and Dad.
